Connect your faith to everyday life!
At First Free Church, we’ve thought long and hard about the most important things that every disciple of Jesus should understand and cultivate in their daily lives. As a result, we’ve created six unique learning experiences that will help every adult disciple grow in their faith.
Who are these classes for?
These classes are ideal for anyone exploring Christianity or the Church, anyone new in their faith, or those desiring to build, or perhaps rebuild, a firm foundation as a growing disciple.

Story:
Explore the whole story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

Build healthy habits for growing spiritually.

Bible:
Learn how to read, study, and hear God’s Word.
Story:
In this 12-week class we will explore how the Bible is a unified story across all 66 books. We’ll look at the overarching narrative, breaking the storyline down into memorable components, and examining key themes that unify the smaller sections within the whole.
The Story class will be offered in the 2026-2027 ministry year.
Habits:
In this 6-week class we explore the practices that are foundational for spiritual formation. Join us as we learn about habits like Bible reading, prayer, solitude, and fellowship.

Bible:
This 6-week class is a place to gain practical tips and tools as you learn to strengthen your personal study of the Bible. this class has a more interactive format where you’ll be able to do your own verse breakdowns and dialogue about them with the class.

Beliefs:
In this 12-week class we’ll work our way through the EFCA Statement of Faith. This class will answer foundational questions and help you see how understanding doctrine impacts our daily lives in real and practical ways. Fall 2026
Gospel:
This 6-week class take a comprehensive deep dive on the single most essential subject of the Christian life: The Gospel. Whether or not you currently follow Jesus and no matter how long you have been there, this class is certain to meet you, teach you, engage with you, and grow you—it may even challenge the gospel you thought you knew!

Worldview:
In this 6-week class we’ll explore what the world and cultural “truths” are that surround us each day, and how they compare and conflict with the actual truth of God’s Word. This class will help you understand what a Christian worldview is and how to cultivate one practically in your own life, while engaging others with both compassion and discernment.

Building on the foundation of our Core Classes, we’d encourage you to make your way to one of our many “elective” classes. At First Free Church, we offer a variety of learning environments for studying books of the Bible and various topics of the Bible. With opportunities for men, women, and co-ed groups, these spaces are great for building community, too!

Titus: Reflection on Church Leadership is a 6-week course to prepare and equip leaders at all levels. The class is a part of onboarding for potential Elders, but is open to anyone interested in learning more about leadership in the church.

Women’s Studies
Romans
Join us as we continue our journey through Paul’s letter to the churches in Rome. Through our continued study of Romans, we’ll see how the gospel brings people from all backgrounds into one body, united in Jesus Christ.
Two options:

Men’s Studies
Genesis 24–50
Join us for a close examination Genesis, the first book of the Bible.
Through this study participants will follow the journey of Jacob, Isaac, and Joseph and how these characters fit into God’s redemptive plan. Facilitated by Tyler Hosier.

For men who need a safe place to address struggles with lust, pornography, affairs, and other areas of sexual brokenness, this group provides Supportive relationships, honest and authentic conversations, and life-altering growth in Christ.
Seniors’ Studies
Cornerstone Class
The Cornerstone class is launching a 6-week class on Unleashed by Tony Evans. This study will talk about the Holy Spirit’s power in us and how that power can be used for God’s Kingdom here on Earth. Join us!
